Los PyMEmpresarios siempre están en búsqueda de una mejor forma de hacer las cosas y así diferenciarse de su competencia, esto hace que la innovación sea parte de ellas.
Parte de la competitividad de una empresa está en el buen manejo de su recurso humano, que al final es el que hace la diferencia competitiva. Una parte de cuidar a los empleados es darles seguridad social.
Para esto definamos bajo qué características está considerado un empleado por la ley. Es alguien que se subordina, teniendo tres características básicas: sigue órdenes, se encuentra en las instalaciones del patrón y trabaja con las herramientas que le da el patrón.
En entrevista con PyMEmpresario, Iván Verón Esquivel, Contador Público Certificado y Auditor del IMSS, explica que hay tres grandes razones por las cuales dar de alta a los trabajadores en el Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS):
1.- Laboral. Es una obligación patronal brindar seguridad social a los trabajadores, puesto que al hacerlo les brindan acceso a atención médica, les permiten ahorrar para el retiro y acceder a un financiamiento para vivienda, mediante el INFONAVIT.
2.-Se evita entrar en conflicto con la autoridad. El IMSS tiene la facultad de inspeccionar todas las empresas de manera aleatoria o bajo una denuncia que entable el empleado afectado, en cuyo caso se puede pagar una multa de hasta el 100% de las cuotas omitidas.
3.- Hacer la nómina deducible. Cuando se dan de alta a los empleados en el IMSS la nómina se deduce de impuestos, lo cual no sucede cuando se les paga por otros métodos, teniendo una percepción de ahorro mal entendido.
Muchas veces las PyMEs no dan de alta a sus empleados porque piensan que es muy caro o porque piensan que así el gobierno los fiscalizará mucho más, para poder hacer un ejercicio de cuánto tendrían que pagar en el portal del IMSS existe un software que se llama SUA (Sistema Único de Autodeterminación) el cual es descargable y de fácil utilización.
Algo que puede ayudar mucho a los empresarios a estar en orden legal es la productividad, si tenemos empleados productivos podemos contratar a una sola persona que haga bien el trabajo y darle las prestaciones de ley, si además esa tarea se ve respaldada con tecnología y sustentada en un plan de negocios y financiero, tendremos mayor éxito, explico Verón.
En resumen las ventajas de dar de alta a los trabajadores en el IMSS son:
1.-Deducir los salarios al 100%
2.-Estabilidad en el personal dado que hay menos rotación
3.-Disminuir los riesgos laborales, tanto de los empleados como los que pueden originarse de multas por incumplimiento.
