Aceleración de empresas desde la educación
La compañía especializada en el desarrollo de contenidos, tecnologías y servicios educacionales, Cengage Learning, anunció que implementará un acelerador de empresas emergentes (start-ups) en el campo de la tecnología educativa.“junto con LearnLaunch, vemos una enorme oportunidad para acelerar el desarrollo de tecnologías que mejoren las experiencias de aprendizaje, al tiempo que promovemos un entorno propicio para la innovación, experimentación y exploración”
LearnLaunch Accelerator prestará servicios de tutoría, networking y apoyo a eventos de empresas en México, mediante su Laboratorio de Innovación en Experiencias de Aprendizaje (LINNEA) con sede en Chihuahua.
Se explicó que esta iniciativa se coordinará con la Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua y National Geographic Learning, pues su propósito será el de motivar a los estudiantes a través de la tecnología.
El presidente de esta compañía en Latinoamérica, Fernando Valenzuela, comentó que “junto con LearnLaunch, vemos una enorme oportunidad para acelerar el desarrollo de tecnologías que mejoren las experiencias de aprendizaje, al tiempo que promovemos un entorno propicio para la innovación, experimentación y exploración”.
Por su parte el socio de LearnLaunch, Hakan Satiroglu, resaltó que es fundamental ofrecer a distintas empresas, sin importar tamaño, “mayor información de mercado y mayores conexiones profesionales en una región de tan rápido crecimiento como lo es Latinoamérica”.
