La falta de apoyo económico para cubrir fisioterapias, equipo y competencias ha sido un obstáculo constante. Sin embargo, su pasión lo mantiene firme: ha competido en más de 20 peleas en la Ciudad de México y el Estado de México, demostrando su talento y determinación. Para financiar su entrenamiento, David se conecta como conductor en la aplicación de DiDi, demostrando que el trabajo arduo y la perseverancia pueden abrir nuevas oportunidades.
Otro caso inspirador es el de Cristhian Jiménez, un poeta que sueña con publicar sus libros de poesía. En 2018, fue diagnosticado con cáncer, y en la lectura encontró un refugio que lo llevó a escribir. Para superar los desafíos económicos, decidió conectarse a la app de DiDi, lo que le permitió generar ganancias mientras seguía luchando por su sueño. “Los sueños son los únicos, donde podemos ser nosotros, donde podemos volar si queremos”, citando a Borges, refleja su visión y motivación.
