Ventas de abarrotes crecieron el 6.2% pese a las afectaciones
Iñaki Landáburu Llaguno, Presidente Ejecutivo de la Asociación Nacional de Abarroteros Mayoristas, señaló que a pesar de que el año 2018 fue complicada la comercialización de abarrotes por los robos, tráfico y con la distribución, sin embargo, ANAM logró un crecimiento en sus ventas del 6.2% en valor y 1.5% en volumen.
Landáburu mencionó que todas las regiones y categorías crecieron, en las que destacan alimento para mascotas con el 12.4% y comestibles con el 7.3%. Además, precisó que el papel higiénico, los detergentes para la ropa y las galletas son las subcategorías que siguen predominando en nuestras ventas.
El presidente apuntó que las tres empresas con más ventas en el canal mayorista nacional son: Nestlé con 8.4% de participación, Kimberly con 7.8% y Gamesa con 4.9%, lo que representa un crecimiento respecto al año 2017 de 10.8%, 0.3% y 5.5% respectivamente.
Las cinco marcas con mayor crecimiento durante el año pasado fueron: Electrolit con un +34.6%; Facial Quality con un +19.6%; Nutrioli con un +15.8%; La Lechera con un +15.5%; y Dog Chow con +13.0%.
Mientras que en el rubro del producto el comportamiento de venta en las tres más grandes categorías fueron: papel higiénico un 7.6%, galletas un 6.1% y detergentes para ropa un 4.5%.
Con respecto a las seis regiones su comportamiento en diciembre de 2018 fue:
- Región I comprende los estados de Baja California, Baja California Sur, Sonora, Sinaloa y Nayarit obtuvieron ventas por un monto de 975.2 millones de pesos.
- La región II está integrada por las entidades de Chihuahua, Nuevo León, Durango, Zacatecas, Tamaulipas y San Luis Potosí la ANAM vendió un monto de 2,546.6 millones de pesos.
- En la región III se atienden los estados Aguascalientes, Jalisco, Guanajuato, Colima y Michoacán y se registraron ventas por un monto de 3,118.2 millones de pesos.
- La región IV centro cubre los estados Hidalgo, Tlaxcala, Puebla, Morelos, Querétaro, Guerrero, estado de México obtuvo ventas por un total 3,245.1 millones de pesos.
- Para la región V Valle de México se atiende a la Ciudad de México, así como Cuautitlán, Cuautitlán Izcalli, Coacalco, Atizapán de Zaragoza, Ecatepec, Tlalnepantla, Texcoco, Huixquilucan, Nezahualcóyotl, La Paz y Chalco tuvo ventas por 3,006.7 millones de pesos.
- En la región VI sureste contempla Veracruz, Oaxaca, Tabasco, Chiapas, Campeche, Yucatán y Quintana Roo se obtuvieron ventas por 4,267.2 millones de pesos.
