Recomendaciones ante el ausentismo laboral

El impacto del ausentismo laboral en cualquier tamaño de empresa merma su  productividad. Lamentablemente en México las compañías  no cuentan con los instrumentos de medición y las políticas  respecto al comportamiento de sus empleados, trabajan más horas pero no por ello son más productivos.

 De acuerdo con Jaime Cardoso, Director de Marketing, Kronos Latinoamérica existen 3 vertientes de los costos asociados de ausentismo que impactan directamente en la empresa y estos son:

– El costo del ausentismo en la nómina

– Costos de Tiempo Extra

– Costos de Remplazo

Por su parte, Gerardo Ricardez, Director de Preventas, Kronos Latinoamérica hace las siguientes recomendaciones a Pymempresario a fin de que los lectores puedan contrarrestar el impacto del ausentismo y logren una correcta administración del personal en las empresas.

1.- Integrar políticas  respecto al personal, es decir horarios de trabajo, aplicación de la ley laboral vigente, permisos, riesgos laborales, recompensas etc.“Establecer instrumentos de medición para conocer el comportamiento de los empleados”

2.- Visibilidad, establecer instrumentos de medición para conocer el comportamiento de los empleados y su cumplimientos de objetivos o jornadas.

3.- Integrar hardware o software que les permite administrar adecuadamente a los empleados, además del conocimiento de su comportamiento en horarios laborales, en otras palabras “mapear” a la perfección su situación laboral.

“Lo importante no es la cantidad de horas trabajadas, pero sí la calidad de ellas; en caso de las pequeñas empresas es muy notorio el ausentismo por la cantidad de empleados, que en muchos casos no es fácil suplir, pero es necesario que los empresarios tengan la información sobre sus empleados, principalmente cuando existen demandas laborales”, señala  Cardoso.

Kronos presentó su Estudio Ausentismo en México, cuyos datos a destacar son:

Tasa promedio de Ausentismo

• Promedio del número total de días laborales reportados por las organizaciones fue de 289.

• La tasa promedio de ausentismo como porcentaje de los días laborales totales en todas las organizaciones encuestadas fue de 7.3%.

• La tasa promedio de ausentismo por enfermedad fue de 1.8%
